The rector of the Tyumen Regional State Institute for the Development of Regional Education, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, People’s Teacher of the Russian Federation Olga Roiblat believes that the approach to the system of advanced training of teachers should be changed.
“There should be a transition to a personalized system of advanced training,” she said on the air of the online program “Educational Environment”. “The main thing is to understand what the teacher needs, to carry out diagnostics, to help eliminate problems, to teach him, to build an individual trajectory for each teacher.”
Olga Roiblat emphasized that such work can be carried out in different forms – both full-time and part-time, combining the integration of formal and informal activities and different approaches to training. Thus, each teacher can choose for himself the most convenient form of study and the time of the course.
“Teachers are constantly learning, they are motivated to acquire new knowledge,” the expert believes.
She also recalled that the starting point of work on professional development are the wishes of teachers and teaching staff: this allows you to form a bank of requests from educational institutions.
“We have created a“ methodological subscription ”- training on the job and training of the entire team. Everyone should work together, and then we will get a good result, “Olga Roiblat summed up.
