A Japanese pupil of ninja history who handed in a paper that is blank offered top marks – after her teacher realised the essay ended up being written in hidden ink.
Eimi Haga implemented the ninja technique of “aburidashi”, spending countless hours soaking and crushing soybeans to make the ink.
