Those going to camp or travel by RV are very well catered to in Alberta. Calgary includes a half dozen campgrounds spread around its borders, Edmonton has one near downtown, and nearly every city, irrespective of its size, includes a campground that is municipal. These facilities vary in expense from liberated to $20 for the tent web site or over to $40 with hookups, based on facilities and location. Usually campgrounds in smaller towns are really a bargain—it’s not uncommon to pay for $20 or less for a niche site with hookups and hot showers.
